Formatting Manuscript

To ensure consistency and facilitate the review process, authors submitting manuscripts to the "Journal of Regional Studies Review" (JRSR) are requested to adhere to the following formatting guidelines:

  1. Title and Author Information:
    • Begin your manuscript with a concise and informative title.
    • Add the Title in Bold and centrally aligned with first letter of each word in Capital.
    • Provide the names and affiliations of all authors, including Designation, Department, University, City, and email addresses with clearly indicating the corresponding author
  2. Abstract and Keywords:
    • Include a structured abstract summarizing the key aspects of your research.
    • Size of the Abstract should not exceed 200 words. (100-200 words).
    • Provide relevant keywords to enhance searchability and indexing.
    • Keywords should not be less than 3 and more than 9 Words.
  3. Headings and Subheadings:
    • Use a clear and hierarchical structure with numbered headings and subheadings.
    • Ensure consistency in font size and style throughout the manuscript.
    • Headings’ font size should be 1 point higher than the normal body text.
  4. Main Text:
    • Use clear and concise language, adhering to academic writing conventions
    • Clearly present the Introduction, Methodology, Literature Review, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion sections.
  5. Citations and References:
    • Follow APA 7th Style for all the In-text Citations and References.
    • Ensure accurate and complete references, listed in alphabetical order.
    • Make sure all the in-text Citations are mentioned in the References Section and vice versa.
  6. Figures and Tables:
    • Include high-quality figures and tables that enhance the presentation of your research.
    • Ensure proper labeling, numbering, and citation within the text.
    • Avoid adding the Tables and Figures in image/screenshot form.
    • Add all the Tables and Figures in editable form following APA style.
  7. Equations:
    • Clearly present mathematical equations, ensuring proper formatting and alignment.
    • Number equations sequentially for easy reference.
  8. Acknowledgments:
    • If applicable, include acknowledgments for funding, support, or contributions.
    • Clearly state any conflicts of interest in this section.
  9. Appendices:
    • Include appendices if necessary, providing supplementary material relevant to your research.
    • Refer to appendices appropriately in the main text.
  10. Manuscript Length:
    • Keep the manuscript length within the specified limits i.e. 3000-9000 words (all inclusive).
    • Concisely convey your research without unnecessary verbosity.
  11. File Format:
    • Submit your manuscript in a common word processing format (e.g., Microsoft Word) using the OJS system available on the JRSR Website.
    • Ensure that the document is editable to facilitate the review process.
  12. Line Spacing and Margins:
    • Use double spacing throughout the manuscript, including the main text, references, and captions.
    • Use A4 paper size for formatting your paper.
  13. Originality Assurance/Plagiarism/Similarity Index:
    • Submissions must be original works that have not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.
    • Similarity Index of the Paper should not exceed 19%.
    • High similarity indices may prompt further investigation and potential rejection of the manuscript..
