Abstract

The objective of this study is to explore the relationship between employee empowerment and turnover intentions with mediating role of employee engagement. For this purpose, a survey method is conducted with a data sample of 119 employees working in the IT industry, small to medium sized organizations in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. If employees are empowerment they are fully engaged are more committed to the organization which can reduce turnover intention. The results show that there is a significant negative relationship between employee empowerment and turnover intension providing a practical implication for enhancing organizational productivity and development with opportunities for its employees.
